Adult Ministries

Mothers Room Due to construction, the Mothers Room has been relocated to the Family Room. Only mothers and their children will be allowed in the Mothers Room due to their need for privacy. If fathers need to calm a child during services, they may sit or walk in the foyer. We apologize for any inconvenience during this temporary relocation.
Current Adult Sunday School Classes: Two classes are available to all adults.

Celebrate Recovery
CR This Week: This week our teaching is on “Taking action by choosing to commit ALL my life and will over to God’s care”.
Do you have a heart for kids or teens? CR is in need of adult volunteers willing to serve with children in Celebration Station, or with Teens. Please contact the Victory House for more information about this exciting ministry opportunity at 943-7880.
New Group Do you know a teenage girl who is hurting? Celebrate Recovery is pleased to announce the arrival of “Life Hurts God Heals” for teenage girls. This group meets Thursday evenings from 6:30p—8:30p. Please call the Victory House for more information, 943-7880.

5:15p—Solid Rock Café—Dinner in the Family Center. Suggested Donation is $3-adults, $1-kids.
6:30p—Large Group—Worship, reading from the 12-steps, and a teaching or testimony.

7:30p—Newcomers—There’s a group just for you. Come find out about CR.
8:30p—Snack and Yack

Men’s Ministries
Men’s PM Bible Study: Tuesdays, 7:00p to 8:30p in Pier 45. Ed Krause will be leading this study. This is a great opportunity for fellowship and a chance to learn from scripture with other men. For more information contact Ed at 867-1337.

Women’s Ministries
Wednesday Bible Study Open to all women. Learn about the book of Romans in Pier 45, from 9:30a –11:30a. Childcare provided.
Higher Grounds Coffee Cart: The coffee cart in the foyer is now open, presented by Women’s Ministry on Sunday mornings, 8:15a-11:00a, donations only. Please stop by for that favorite specialty coffee. Questions? Contact Erin Markel at 359-0053.
Shawls of Blessing: Do you want to positively impact the life of someone going through a difficult time? Consider knitting or crocheting a prayer shawl. If you need a shawl pattern or have any questions, contact Maggie Rayls at 943-4892 or mrayls@comcast.net.

Missions Ministries
Faith Promise To date we have received $72,657.00. Our goal is $95,000.00.
Prayer Needs: Please continue praying for the Haitian people and workers. The Nazarene Church in Port Au Prince, across from the capital building, did not collapse. (It was built by Nazarene Work and Witness Teams).
Mission Books: New exciting books, tapes and CD’s are available for checkout at the Missions Counter. Simply take out the card, write your name and drop it in the box. Questions? Contact Beulah Bennett, 459-2423.
Crisis Care Kits: We have now sent 15 boxes this year.
Sun Valley Indian School: We are collecting the following items: Campbell’s Soup labels (with UPC), “Box Tops for Education”, and Bonus Points Certificates. We cannot accept Betty Crocker Points. We’ve sent 1636 UPC points and 538 box tops to help pay for a new van at Sun Valley Indian School.
LINKS We have a new links couple with three children, serving in the Horn of Africa.
Compassionate Ministries
Food Pantry Needs: We are in need of the following items: Jam, cereal, spaghetti noodles, spaghetti sauce with meat, canned fruit, pork and beans, green beans, chicken noodle soup, tomato soup and Tuna Helper. These items can be brought to the Church Office.
